Welcome to my playground.

I have a strange hobby, or a strange art--depending on how you want to look at it. I like to make up languages. And with the languages I make up cultures, histories, alphabets, planets, histories, animals, mythologies, and whatever else strikes my fancy. Yeah, it's not the most popular hobby in the world. But it is a lot of fun, and I'm hardly the first person in the world to do it--check out the Links section for proof. And if you want an explanation of why we do this, you can look into the Conlanging section, which contains articles about general conlanging.

My world--the one that I have spent the most time in, which has taken up large portions of my imagination for more than a decade--is called Aratasa. So this site is dedicated to Aratasa, and the few other places similarly populated only in my head.

If you just want to find out about my languages, you can look in the Yivrian section or the Costanice section. These are two of my most important languages, though their settings are totally different. Check each of them out for information on their respective situations, history, and whatnot. There's more that needs to be uploaded in each of these sections, so come back later to see what I've added.
